Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Entry Level Technician to support the Aircraft Prototype Systems Division at NAS Pax River. The role focuses on basic electrical systems understanding, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting under pressure.

This SCA-covered position aligns with McNamara–O'Hara standards and offers competitive wage determination by location. Salary levels are evaluated against experience and the applicable DOL Wage Determination; successful candidates may pursue IPC/WHMA-A-620

Qualifications

Associates degree or 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience.
Level 2 requires 1 year of related experience; or 3 years with HS diploma.
Must obtain IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Repair, fabrication, modification and installation of electrical wiring harnesses and assemblies.
Perform soldering and use tools to complete tasks.
Coordinate with project engineer/designer on issues.
Receive guidance from supervisor or engineer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
