Future Motors in Boise, ID, is seeking an Automotive Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform routine and advanced service tasks on electric and hybrid vehicles, including inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. Work with service advisors to explain findings and ensure a safe environment.

You’ll apply high-voltage safety practices, read repair manuals, and participate in ongoing EV training to stay at the forefront of automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and repair across automotive systems.
• Hands-on experience with oil changes and routine service tasks.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Ability to inspect, service, and repair suspension components with safety.
• Familiarity with EV drivetrains and high-voltage safety practices.
• ASE certifications or equivalent training are a plus.
