Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to support high voltage electrical systems on transit buses in Colorado. The role covers field service across various vehicle platforms, with travel up to 75% and a focus on troubleshooting and installation of electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electrical or related fields, plus knowledge of 12V/24V and 600V systems; PLC/ladder logic and hydrogen training are a plus. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical, HVAC or related field experience.
Knowledge of 12V/24V, 600V and air conditioning systems.
Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, schematics and instructions.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
High voltage training or hydrogen certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot high voltage electrical issues on buses and related systems.
Install electrical systems and components in transit vehicles.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment in the field.
Repair or replace wiring, relays, motors and other electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems with testing devices (ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, cable testers).
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers.
