Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking a Field Service Technician to support electric buses and high-voltage electrical systems. The role requires hands-on field work, diagnosing and repairing complex electrical issues on transit vehicles.

The ideal candidate has E-bus experience, 2+ years in electrical or related fields, and strong troubleshooting skills. Expect extensive travel and the ability to read blueprints and schematics while servicing advanced EV technologies.

Qualifications

E-bus experience is required.
2+ years in electrical, HVAC, or related field.
Strong electrical troubleshooting including wiring, testing, and repair.
Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, schematics, and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

Work with advanced electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell technology, troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and some mechanical high-voltage issues.
Install electrical systems and components on transit vehicles.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical equipment.
Repair or replace wiring, relays, motors, lighting, and other electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment including ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, and cable testers.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
