Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking a Field Service Technician for Electric Bus high voltage systems in Missouri. You will troubleshoot, install, and service high‑voltage electrical systems in transit buses, traveling to client sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has E‑bus experience, 2+ years in electrical or HVAC, and proficiency with wiring, diagnostics, and testing equipment. PLC and ladder logic experience is preferred; valid driver’s license required and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

E-bus experience is required.
2+ years in electrical, HVAC, or related field.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and wiring skills.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and instructions.
Valid driver's license; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Work with advanced electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell technology, troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and some mechanical high-voltage issues.
Install electrical systems and components on transit vehicles.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical equipment.
Repair or replace wiring, relays, motors, lighting, and other electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment including ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, and cable testers.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
