Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks a Diagnostics Testing and Integration Engineer to lead software diagnostics testing across vehicle subsystems, from simulation to vehicle deployment.

You will own test automation with Python/Pytest, perform fault injection, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external stakeholders, to ensure robust diagnostics and seamless integration into fleets.

Qualifications

• BS or MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Software).
• Proficiency in Python, including test automation with Pytest; familiarity with C and Git.
• Hands-on work with electromechanical vehicle systems and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define and document test cases traced to requirements across OBD and enhanced diagnostics, from sub-system to vehicle level.
• Develop and maintain automated SiL and HiL test cases in Python and Pytest.
• Run tests at SiL, HiL and vehicle level through development, software release regression and production verification.
• Plan and execute vehicle-level tests of onboard and enhanced diagnostic systems, including test drives and data logging.
