Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Assembly Technician for 1st shift at our Mt Juliet, TN facility to prepare, assemble, and wire products for testing and quality inspection. Responsibilities include material selection, cutting, crimping, wiring, label provisioning, and reading blueprints to ensure correct installation of components.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass background checks, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Material selection: choose wire gauges, insulation, connectors, terminals, and coverings.
Wire cutting and stripping to specifications.
Crimping and soldering for strong connections.
Assemble wire harnesses per design requirements.
Label wires, connectors and assemblies for traceability.
Read blueprints and schematics to install and wire components.
Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies with hand/power tools.
Follow safety rules and maintain quality standards.
