Job summary

Itron, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Electric Solution Consultant to lead discovery engagements with Electric utility customers, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and deliver tailored demonstrations that showcase Itron's Resiliency Solutions.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Sales to align customer needs with product direction, support POC programs, and travel up to 50% across assigned territories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution consulting or related sales engineering roles for enterprise SaaS.
• Experience with utility organizations and customer-facing technical sales activities.
• Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery engagements with Electric utility customers to understand objectives and success criteria.
• Develop discovery plans, document findings, and support internal teams through the sales cycle.
• Create solution descriptions and proposals for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Deliver value-based product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
• Design and support POC engagements and trial programs with clear objectives and metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with product direction.
