Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Construction Management, Utility Management, or closely related field.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in electric utility operations, with at least four years in supervision or management.
• Experience with utility technologies and regulatory requirements for municipal electric utilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on load forecasting and power supply procurement.
• Lead planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the electric distribution system.
• Oversee electric rate design, cost of service studies, and rate structure development.
• Develop departmental goals, policies, and budget, including O&M and CIP.
• Staffing planning, organizational structure, and process improvements.
• Ensure safety programs and regulatory compliance and oversee contractor activities.
• Oversee SCADA, AMI/AMR, OMS, GIS and related software; coordinate emergency response.
