Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 10 years’ experience in electric utilities and at least 5 years in senior management, with strong regulatory and stakeholder collaboration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or related field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in electric power utility management.
• 5 years in senior management.
• Experience in power system planning and capital planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership experience in high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs operation and maintenance of the electric distribution system to ensure safe, reliable service.
• Supervises planning, engineering, and power delivery activities.
• Implements codes, rules, and regulations for customer installations and electric projects.
• Leads staff development and performance evaluation.
• Oversees development of technical knowledge, skills, and training.
• Identifies system needs and supports capital and operational improvements.
• Leads studies and design for system extensions and maintenance.
• Maintains construction standards documentation.
