Job summary

Township of Wall, Monmouth County, seeks a qualified Electric Subcode Official H.H.S. (Full Time) to enforce the State Uniform Construction Code, perform field inspections, and review building plans for code compliance.

The role coordinates and supervises electric inspectors, requires a valid Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. issued by NJ DCA, and strong time management and communication skills, with SDL software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must possess current and valid Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. as issued by NJ DCA.
• Experience with field inspections and reviewing plans for new and existing buildings to ensure code compliance.
• Excellent time management, communication, customer relations and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Field inspections and reviewing plans to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code.
• Coordinates and supervises work of electric inspectors.
• Full-time, M-F 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
