Job summary

Township of Wall, Monmouth County, seeks a qualified Electric Subcode Official H.H.S. (Full Time) to enforce the State Uniform Construction Code, perform field inspections, and review building plans for code compliance.

The role coordinates and supervises electric inspectors, requires a valid Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. issued by NJ DCA, and strong time management and communication skills, with SDL software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must possess current and valid Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. as issued by NJ DCA.
• Experience with field inspections and reviewing plans for new and existing buildings to ensure code compliance.
• Excellent time management, communication, customer relations and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Field inspections and reviewing plans to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code.
• Coordinates and supervises work of electric inspectors.
• Full-time, M-F 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Position Overview:

ELECTRIC SUBCODE OFFICIAL H.H.S. (FULL TIME) – TOWNSHIP OF WALL, MONMOUTH COUNTY. The Township of Wall seeks a qualified Electric Subcode Official H.H.S. Duties include; field inspections and reviewing plans for new and existing buildings and structures to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code and enforces same to ensure public safety, health, and welfare, does related work as required. Coordinates and supervises work of electric inspectors. Position requires excellent time management, communication, customer relations and organizational skills. Applicant should have excellent computer, mobile technology skills and experience with SDL software preferred. This is a full-time position M-F 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Applicant must possess a current and valid Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. as issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, multiple inspectors/subcode licenses preferred and a valid and current New Jersey driver's license. Benefits including medical, dental and pension.

Salary Range:

• $90,000.00- $130,000.00/ annually
