Job summary

Wall Township, New Jersey, seeks an Electric Subcode Official H.H.S. (Full Time) to enforce the State Uniform Construction Code through field inspections and plan reviews for new and existing buildings.

The official coordinates and supervises electric inspectors, requires a current Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. issued by the NJ Department of Community Affairs, plus a valid NJ driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Electric Subcode License and Electric Inspectors license H.H.S. (NJ) issued by the State board.
• Experience with field inspections and plan reviews for new and existing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and review plans for new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code.
• Coordinate and supervise electric inspectors and ensure safety, health and welfare through code compliance.
• Maintain time management, communication, and organizational skills in a public-facing role.
