Job summary

Rocketdyne in Redmond, WA is seeking a Program Management Specialist to lead the development and production of Electric Propulsion components and systems for space applications. You will guide a team of design and manufacturing engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and present program status to management and customers.

The role reports to the Director of Electric Propulsion Programs and requires a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with several years of relevant experience; an engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR Graduate Degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Engineering degree preferred (Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the program’s development and manufacturing team in executing the program plan.
• Support budget and schedule planning and statusing, Earned Value Management a plus.
• Present program status briefings/reports to internal management and customers.
• Provide problem solving leadership to program team when issues are encountered.
• Risk and opportunity management.
