Job summary

Rocketdyne seeks a skilled Program Manager with a strong background in the development and production of Electric Propulsion (EP) components and systems for space applications. You will lead a team of design and manufacturing engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and report to the Director of Electric Propulsion Programs. Based in Redmond, WA.

The role emphasizes program leadership, risk management, and effective communication with customers and internal management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• Experience with EP thrusters, feed systems and power processor units.
• Strong leadership and program management skills; budget and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the program’s development and manufacturing team in executing the program plan.
• Support budget and schedule planning and statusing; Earned Value Management a plus.
• Present program status briefings/reports to internal management and customers.
• Provide problem solving leadership to program team when issues are encountered.
