Job summary

Carter Machinery in Salem, Virginia, is seeking an Electric Power Generation (EPG) Field Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical generator systems at customer sites.

Starting pay is $27.23 to $39.03 per hour, with eligibility for a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates; those with less experience receive $2,000. The role requires travel, CDL/DOT readiness, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
