Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is seeking an Electric Power Generation (EPG) Field Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair basic electrical generator and engine issues at customer sites.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team. The position offers 1st shift, competitive starting pay, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates, plus extensive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years' relevant EPG/electronics field experience to qualify for $10,000 sign-on bonus; others qualify for $2,000 sign-on.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair basic failures to electrical generator systems and related basic engine failures at customer sites.
• Interact professionally with customers and all levels of personnel within the organization.
