Job summary

Devine Management Consulting is seeking a Motor Winder to relocate to Texas. The role involves mechanical overhaul and winding of electrical rotation equipment, with responsibilities spanning rewinding, data recording, manufacturing, and testing of motor assemblies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with winding equipment, data accuracy for winding specs, and the ability to work with copper windings and associated testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience handling winding of AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, rotors.
• Ability to record original winding data and dimensions accurately.
• Familiarity with copper windings manufacturing and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Rewind AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, rotors, generators and field coils.
• Strip damaged motors and precisely record winding data and dimensions before removal.
• Cut, form and install new copper windings manually or with winding machinery.
• Perform insulation testing, brazing, silver soldering, and final motor integrity testing.

Job Overview & Core Responsibilities

The Electric Motor Winder/Coil Winder is responsible for the mechanical overhaul of electrical rotation equipment. Standard expectations for this type of role include:

• Rewinding Equipment: Rewind AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, rotors, generators, and field coils.
• Data Recording: Strip damaged motors down and precisely record all original winding data and dimensions before removal.
• Manufacturing: Cut, form, and install new copper windings manually or by operating winding machinery.
• Testing & Assembly:Perform insulation testing, brazing, silver soldering, and final testing of motor integrity using surge and insulation meters
