Electric Motor Technician II - 2nd Shift

Position Details:

• Hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Shift Differential: 12% for 2nd shift employees

We build, service, and sell industrial motors, controls, gearboxes, and related equipment. Our technicians perform repairs on various electromechanical equipment. We offer a two-year program for less experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operational and safety procedures
• Good computer skills
• Ability to provide necessary tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willing to be on call one weekend every five weeks
• Trade or technical program completion preferred

Responsibilities to Be Learned:

• Read job cards and determine work scope
• Test and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment
• Disassemble, clean, and inspect equipment
• Replace or repair worn parts
• Retest equipment for proper operation
• Complete documentation accurately
• Operate repair and testing equipment
• Follow safety procedures and use protective gear
• Lift and secure heavy objects as needed

Salary: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour.
