Job summary

Jobtailor in Oregon seeks an experienced technician to modify electric motors per customer specifications, operate manual and power tools, and process orders in SAP daily. You will uphold safety procedures and inspect quality while supporting the Mod Shop Lead to meet on-time delivery goals.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, and the ability to follow written procedures; forklift experience and MS Office/SAP skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of low/med voltage AC motors preferred.
• Understand and follow safety procedures.
• Strong mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written procedures.
• Ability to use and operate manual tools and power tools in hands-on applications.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
• SAP and other business software experience preferred.
• Ability to complete assigned modification jobs without assistance.
• Ability to follow test equipment procedures and interpret test results.
• Ability to identify physical nonconformities on AC motors.
• Knowledge to properly identify materials & components for modifications.
• Ability to assist fellow technicians on modifications.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Modify electric motors according to customer specifications.
• Deliver finished products to the designated shipping area.
• Process completed production orders and quality inspection sheets in SAP daily.
• Support the Mod Shop Lead on projects to achieve on-time delivery goals.
• Perform tasks safely while using all necessary PPE.
• Complete daily equipment operation checklists.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments.
