Job summary

Dykman Electrical is seeking a Motor Modification Mechanic Associate in Oklahoma to modify new electric motors per customer changes and to support order fulfillment alongside Inside and Outside Sales teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hands-on tool experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. This full-time role requires dependable, flexible hours and a proactive problem-solving mindset to serve our diverse industrial customers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with basic tools.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Forklift operation may be required; valid driver's license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry product; operate a forklift and truck; valid driver’s license required.
• Deliver accurate documentation with the inside team.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments with Inside Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; organize warehouse and work area.
• Disassemble motors, perform modifications, re-assemble and test as necessary.
• Use provided tools to perform job tasks safely and efficiently.

Who You Are:

Our Motor Modification Mechanic Associate will be responsible for modifying new electric motors with customer requested changes, and also for organizing and fulfilling orders in partnership with our Inside and Outside Sales teams. This position requires mechanical aptitude, ability, and a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with various basic tools and an understanding of basic safety protocols.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Lift and carry product; operate a forklift and truck - valid driver’s license required
• Deliver accurate documentation, in partnership with the inside team
• Coordinate and schedule shipments in partnership with the Inside Sales and Supply Chain teams
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment – sweep and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Dis-assemble motors perform required modifications, re-assemble and test as necessary
• Utilize Dykman provided tools to perform the functions of the job while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Delivering products as needed (Clean Driving Record needed)
