Job summary

Dykman Electrical in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Motor Modification Mechanic Associate to modify electric motors and fulfill orders in partnership with Inside and Outside Sales. This role requires mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years’ experience with basic tools and safety protocols.

You’ll lift and carry products, operate a forklift, coordinate shipments with Supply Chain, maintain a clean work area, disassemble motors for modifications, reassemble and test, and contribute to a safety-focused,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience with basic tools and an understanding of basic safety protocols.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to support multiple areas and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry product; operate a forklift and truck - valid driver’s license required.
• Deliver accurate documentation, in partnership with the inside team.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments in partnership with the Inside Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment – sweep and organize warehouse for orderliness.
• Disassemble motors, perform required modifications, re-assemble and test as necessary.
• Utilize Dykman provided tools to perform the functions of the job while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Delivering products as needed (clean driving record required).
