Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking an Assembly Builder to support the unit in achieving production targets by reading diagrams, assembling motors and components, and ensuring insulation and grounding. You will perform quality tests, use torque tools and hand tools, and collaborate with quality and engineering teams.

You will maintain a clean 5S workspace, track production data, and adapt to production demands while working onsite on a shift that supports operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electric motors and components (stators, rotors, bearings, housings, wiring) and complete electrical connections.
• Perform quality checks and functional testing (hi-pot, continuity, balance) and coordinate with quality/engineering for rework.
• Operate assembly tools safely and accurately; maintain calibration and support efficient production flow.
• Track production data, follow SOPs and 5S standards, and contribute to process improvements.
