Job summary

ABB is seeking an Assembly Builder to support the unit in achieving production targets on the shop floor. You will read technical diagrams and assemble motors and components, ensuring proper insulation, grounding, and functionality.

This onsite role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, using torque tools and hand tools, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean 5S workspace while following SOPs and collaborating with quality and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electric motors and components per schematics.
• Perform quality checks and functional testing; identify defects.
• Operate assembly tools safely and maintain calibration.
• Track production data and follow SOPs; keep a 5S workspace.
• Coordinate across departments to support efficient production flow.
