Job summary

Arc is seeking a Test Engineer to own component, assembly, and vehicle-level prototype testing for electric marine platforms. You will draft procedures, build instrumentation, and run tests to drive issues to closure, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams.

You will help establish Arc's testing culture, build test stands, and execute both bench and field tests with frequent hands-on work and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in electromechanical product development and testing.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience running electromechanical system tests.

Responsibilities

• Own subset of development and qualification testing for the electric boat platform.
• Draft test procedures, instrumentation plans, schematics, and work instructions from scratch.
• Engineer test stands for development, qualification, and production testing.
• Configure data acquisition systems for objective data collection.
• Collaborate with vehicle engineers to define and execute test campaigns.
• Work with test technicians to diagnose and repair prototype issues.
• Perform bench tests and on-vehicle field tests.
• Prepare for travel up to 25%.
