  • Ability to obtain 34.5 kV rubber glove certification.
  • Reside within 30 minutes of the Area Work Center and respond to outages.
  • Ability to pass CAST aptitude test and physical prescreen; weight limit 300 lb.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, install, repair, and maintain distribution and transmission circuits and substations.
  • Rig poles on energized and de-energized lines; install transformers and reclosers.
  • Perform work on underground equipment and electrical systems with safety focus.
  • Follow instructions and communicate effectively; work on poles and structures.
  • Respond to outages and emergencies as part of the role.
