Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire seeks a Day-Shift Troubleshooter to join our line crew. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, identify and isolate faults, operate switching devices, and coordinate with Field Electricians to restore service during emergencies or outages.

The role requires at least four years of line-related experience, a Lineworker I classification or equivalent, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to climb and work in buckets or confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of line-related experience with Lineworker I or equivalent.
• Must climb and work outdoors in all weather; capable of working aloft in a bucket and in confined spaces.
• New Hampshire High/Medium Voltage License required; CDL Class B at minimum; CDL-A with 0 endorsement within six months.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair energized/de-energized lines and equipment across voltage levels.
• Identify, isolate faults, operate switching devices, and assist with maintenance and restoration of service.
• Coordinate with Field Electricians and Substation group; install/replace transformers and jumpers as needed.
• Perform street light work, inspections, and safety checks; ensure compliance with standards.
• Respond to storm emergencies and work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
