Job summary

Xcel Energy invites applications for an Apprentice Lineman (3rd Step or Higher) at the Chanhassen Service Center, MN. You will join a team responsible for construction, maintenance, and emergency repairs of overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Lineman technical degree, CDL Class A, and willingness to participate in an apprenticeship. The starting pay is $43.59/hour with potential advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school Lineman degree is required.
• Willing to participate in Apprenticeship program.
• Possession of a valid CDL Class A.
• Capable of overhead and underground distribution construction and maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active participation in training and retraining programs.
• Ability to work with customers and demonstrate teamwork.
• Adherence to safety rules.
