Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year distribution line work experience or equivalent training.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must relocate within 30 miles of Newark Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, remove and inspect overhead and underground facilities.
• Test, de-energize and ground URD cable and troubleshoot URD cable/equipment.
• Build and erect equipment mountings and overhead transformer installations.
• Direct the work of assistants and ensure safety procedures.
• Perform tagging during switching of energized circuits.
