Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience in equipment repair or mechanical maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with basic electrical systems and safe use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and established maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn the company ERP system.
• Ability to communicate repair findings and work independently or with a team.
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on electric forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and component replacements according to manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Inspect batteries, charging systems, controls, and related components within the scope of assigned training.
• Document inspections, troubleshooting findings, repairs, and parts used in the company ERP system.
• Identify unsafe equipment conditions and report issues requiring further evaluation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established safety procedures.
• Support receiving, shipping, order preparation, inventory organization, and product staging as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after completing required training and company authorization.
• Coordinate with team members to complete repairs and prepare customer orders on schedule.
