Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Forklift Service Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of forklifts across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of forklift maintenance experience and a basic tools set, with ASE certification preferred but not required.

The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing component rebuilds and hydraulic repairs, and conducting routine maintenance such as battery checks and lubrication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in forklift service or maintenance.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a basic set ofTools to perform repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift repairs on fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in forklifts.
• Rebuild components and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance: battery checks, lubrication, and general servicing.
• Perform tire changes, brakes, and bolt-on component work.
