Job summary

Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning is seeking an Electrical Field Supervisor to lead from the front, coach field electricians, and ensure every customer experience is top-tier. Youll split time between running residential calls, supporting your crew, and driving quality, safety, and growth across the team.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, you will collaborate with dispatch, sales, and operations while maintaining NEC code compliance and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and NEC code.
• Excellent customer communication and job-site professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Run service calls and generate revenue through high-quality residential electrical work.
• Supervise and support a team of field electricians (typically 3 techs).
• Provide in-field coaching on technical skills and customer service.
• Ensure adherence to electrical code, safety standards, and best practices.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of field staff.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, sales, and operations teams.
• Monitor job quality, efficiency, and performance metrics.

Electrical Field Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Run service calls and generate revenue through high-quality residential electrical work
• Supervise and support a team of field electricians (typically 3 techs)
• Conduct regular ride- alongs and provide in-field coaching on technical skills and customer service
• Ensure adherence to electrical code, safety standards, and job site best practices
• Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of field staff
• Help resolve escalated customer issues or job complications with professionalism and care
• Maintain communication with the dispatch, sales, and operations teams
• Monitor job quality, efficiency, and performance metrics to help drive improvements
• Support inventory tracking, vehicle inspections, and tool compliance

Electrical Field Supervisor Qualifications:

• Valid State Electrical License ( Journeyman or Master preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of residential electrical experience
• Prior experience leading or mentoring junior electricians strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, NEC code, and permitting processes
• Excellent customer communication and job-site professionalism
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support field operations
• Comfortable using service software, tablets, and job management tools
