Job summary

CoolToday seeks an Electrical Field Supervisor to lead the electrical team from start to completion, including the installation of whole home generators and panels, contract management, and quality control. You will ensure safety compliance and staff development in a fast-paced service environment.

Ideal candidates have proven supervisory experience, strong leadership and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage schedules, permits, and regulatory requirements while traveling as needed

• Proven work experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
• Knowledge of NEC and safety codes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

What Will I Do?

The Electrical Supervisor will manage the electrical team from job start to completion, the installation of whole home generators, panels, contract management, quality control, identify training opportunities to further educate staff and keep compliance with electrical codes while adhering to safety regulations.

• Review, read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
• Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
• Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
• Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
• Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
• Manages the Electrical material and tool/equipment inventory based on the need of the department.
• Manages productivity, overtime and material costs

Do I have What it Takes?

• Proven work experience as an Electrical Supervisor
• Nextstar trained on service system
• Advanced experience in-depth knowledge of commercial and residential electrical including high voltage
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Familiarity with state electrical and safety (NEC) codes
• Experience working with inspectors to finalize permit requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail orientated with a focus on quality workmanship
• Able to work independently and lead a team effectively
• Clean background and MVD record
• Willingness to travel from Sarasota to Naples
