Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks a field operations leader to direct safe construction, maintenance, and emergency restoration of electric distribution and transmission systems.

You will coordinate with districts, enforce safety, manage resources, and ensure budget adherence while delivering strong customer service. This role includes on-call and storm duty, travel between MA/CT/NH, and interaction with unions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid Motor Vehicle License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe execution of field activities; set safety expectations and resolve safety concerns promptly.
• Prioritize work to ensure safe and efficient use of resources.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct reviews per bargaining unit contract.
• Resolve grievances and ensure timely, complete resolution with managers and employees.
• Coordinate pre-construction reviews and collaborate with other utilities, departments, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotation and fulfill storm duty assignments as required.
