The Electric Engineering Analyst works under general supervision, performing a variety of moderately complex to complex electric engineering and geo-spatial tasks in support of the Core Engineering and Operation Suite of applications such as the engineering analysis model, outage management software system, staking/design software system and the Electric GIS system. Anticipated Start Date: On or after October 5, 2026.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Science, Electric Engineering or related technical field and four (4) or more years related experience using Geographic Information Systems and/or Electric Engineering Modeling Software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS technologies such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE and utilizing ArcGIS Server technology, as well as associated applications. Proficient in Milsoft WindMil & Outage Management platforms. Proficient in Design/Staking Software. Strong knowledge of Electric Distribution engineering and operational technology domain. Strong understanding of database concepts, querying, and reporting from SQL databases. Skilled in use of office productivity tools (Example: Microsoft Office). Preferred: Knowledge of electric distribution utility standards and practices. Experience with electric system modeling and analysis software. Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure Ability to provide innovative ideas for the ongoing development of work processes Experience with AutoCAD software. Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution terminology and theory of operations. Familiarity with surveying equipment and tools. Willing to conduct job sites visits to support the upkeep of electric distribution model.
Valid Class 'C' Texas driver's license required. Out-of-state license holders must have a valid license and provide a three-year driving history.

Hiring Range: $44.20 - $55.37, hourly.
