Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3 years of cumulative experience in electrical or civil engineering, planning or operations.
• Active California PE license is required or desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distribution engineering standards, specifications, and design manuals.
• Evaluate materials and equipment for distribution system applications.
• Interpret and apply engineering codes, standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform studies, evaluations and reliability assessments.
• Support asset strategy, equipment qualification, standards governance, and improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Support emergency response, regulatory inquiries, audits, and new standards implementation.
