Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3 years of cumulative experience in electrical or civil engineering, planning and/or operations.
• Current and active California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, NESC, GO 95, and CPUC requirements.
• Experience with GIS, SAP, Power BI, CYME, and ADMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and govern distribution engineering standards, specifications, design manuals, standard drawings, and technical bulletins.
• Evaluate, test, and approve materials, equipment, and emerging technologies for distribution system applications.
• Interpret and apply applicable engineering codes, industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform engineering studies, reliability analyses, and equipment evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance to Engineering, Operations, Asset Strategy, Supply Chain, Construction, and project teams.
• Support emergency response, regulatory inquiries, audits, and implementation of new standards and technologies.
• Lead projects and coordinate cross-functional technical initiatives.
