Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire is seeking an Electric Distribution Designer 1 to support residential and commercial projects. You will design and document work orders, interpret electrical maps, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely scheduling and accurate project details.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering or related field, plus 12 months of hands-on training or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers and officials to assess project requirements.
Coordinate design and information flow for distribution projects.
Design and write project details for scheduling and completion.
Participate in planning meetings and provide accurate need dates.
Provide site visits, estimates, and documentation for final prep.
Assist in resolving project issues and customer concerns.
Prepare designs and supporting docs for additions/changes to the electric system.
Support budget process with cost estimates and designs.
Storm restoration assignments as needed.
Prioritize customer satisfaction and effective communication.
Prepare GIS maps for updates.
Assist in training Electric Distribution Designers.
