Job summary

Black Hills Energy in Pueblo, CO is seeking a seasoned supervisor to coordinate, schedule and provide field oversight for distribution line construction, maintenance and design projects. This role ensures customer service requirements across divisions within our electric distribution systems.

The position reports to the Electric Operations Manager and requires strong leadership, safety focus, budgeting, and coordination with contractors, crews, and internal teams to deliver reliable energy to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in construction, project leadership, operations and maintenance or relevant field.
• Strong Commitment to Safety.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and direct work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, contractors, community and business leaders, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled maintenance of equipment and tools used by assigned personnel and ensure records are accurate in Company systems.
• Supervise field employees and maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, contractors and management.
• Assist with work orders, budgeting and cost control to deliver lowest cost to customers and shareholders.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies related to the electric distribution system and participate in standby duties.
