Job summary

Sioux Valley Energy is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric distribution facilities in the southern part of our service territory. The position reports to the Director of Operations and is based at the Brandon Service Center.

Qualifications

• Extensive electric utility operations experience and knowledge of distribution systems
• Experience leading lineworkers and coordinating multi-discipline teams
• Familiarity with NESC and safe working practices

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, contractors and work plans
• Provide leadership to Journey Lineworkers, Apprentice Lineworkers and Lead Journey Lineworkers
• Maintain focus on safety, reliability, power quality, productivity and member service
• Manage multiple priorities, monitor budgets and performance and build relationships with employees, members and contractors
