Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in the power industry.
• EIT certification completed; PE license desired.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical guidance to engineering team.
• Review design concepts and determine alternate solutions for the distribution system.
• Set clear expectations aligned with the corporate strategic plan.
• Evaluate results and accountability for engineers and the team.
• Promote cross-functional teamwork and safety culture.
• Represent Distribution Engineering on project teams.
• Direct, review, and evaluate engineering work of engineers and outside firms.
• Provide technical expertise to support Field Planning and other departments.
• Assist in storm restoration efforts.
