Job summary

Leidos is looking for Distribution Designers to join their team in Minneapolis, MN. This contract role focuses on developing work packages for electric distribution systems in overhead and underground environments.

The successful candidate will engage in engineering calculations, perform field visits, and contribute to the overall design and coordination of distribution projects.

Qualifications include a 2-year technical degree or H.S. Diploma with relevant experience, as well as familiarity with necessary software tools.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or H.S. Diploma with less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering work packages for overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Perform engineering calculations including structural analysis of poles and fault currents.
• Conduct field visits or field engineering of project requirements.

Skills

Experience with STORMS

Familiarity with Pole Loading software

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding of mathematics

Education

2-year technical degree or H.S. Diploma
