Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) required.
• 1 year Electric Utility Distribution (or Transmission) Design experience or >2 years field operational experience.
• Department Sr. Manager’s approval in lieu of all requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial work, including service needs assessment, design of line extensions, cost estimation, and construction drawings.
• Lead pre-design and pre-construction meetings with stakeholders.
• Perform engineering calculations (load studies, fault current, voltage drop).
• Provide technical support to operations and ensure compliance with distribution design standards.
