Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company is seeking a Supervisor Construction Maintenance to lead overhead and underground distribution construction, operation, and maintenance efforts. You will coordinate crews, manage field operations, and ensure safe, reliable electric service for customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety culture, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams to meet operational goals and customer needs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus three years' experience in design, engineering, construction, operations, or maintenance of electrical facilities.
• In lieu of a degree, four-year electrical apprenticeship Journeyman experience with three years in relevant work.
• In lieu of a degree, seven years of combined education/experience in energy construction fields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate line crews and servicemen to ensure fully staffed teams and timely construction.
• Minimize customer outages through proper operating and restoration procedures.
• Control construction costs by scheduling resources for productivity and service.
• Resolve differences with open communication and policy interpretation.
• Maintain fleets and implement efficient maintenance programs.
• Promote safety and reduce accidents via meetings and tailboard sessions.
• Support emergent restoration efforts and after-hours responsibilities.
• Participate in local community boards and events when needed.
