Top Tempo Technical in Spokane, WA is seeking an Electrical/Field Service Technician to support advanced electric transit bus technology. The role centers on field electrical expertise, high voltage troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems in transit vehicles.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical/HVAC or related field and familiarity with high voltage, 12V/24V, 600V systems, and blueprints. Wage starts at $35/hour and scales with experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in electrical, HVAC or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of 12V/24V, 600V and A/C systems.
• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with multi-plex systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, schematics and instructions.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical (and some mechanical) and high voltage issues in transit vehicles.
• Install electrical systems and components in transit vehicles.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices (ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, cable testers).
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.

Electrical/Field Service Technician – Spokane, WA

Work as an Electrical/Field Service Technician for an international transit manufacturer and parts distributor. This position is responsible for providing electrical expertise in the field on high voltage electric transit buses. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in either electrical, HVAC or other related field and have experience with any of the following: buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavyequipment,or aircraft.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with advanced electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell technology; troubleshooting electronic, electrical (some mechanical) and high voltage issues, and resolving them.
2. Install electrical systems and components in transit vehicles
3. Maintain,troubleshoot,and repair electronic equipment
4. Repair or replace parts, light fixtures, wiring, finder relays, motors, and other types of electrical equipment Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems with a variety of testing devices: ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, cable testers, etc.
5. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience in either electrical, HVAC oranotherrelated field
2. Thorough knowledge of 12V and 24V, 600 V and air conditioning systems
3. Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of multi-plex systems
4. Ability to work from blueprints, process sheets, schematics, and instructions as required
5. Electrical troubleshooting skills and experience
6. Experience with electrical wiring, circuit testing, troubleshooting and general repair
7. Solid customer service skills
8. PLC and ladder logic experience preferred
9. High voltage experience and hydrogen training or certification preferred
10. General knowledge of transit bus/hybrid and/or electric drive systems ideal but not necessary

Pay Range:$35.00/hourand upbased on experience
