Job summary

The Warehouse Specialist at Maricopa County supports the Elections Department by coordinating procurement, receipt, delivery, and issuance of equipment and materials for multiple divisions. The role also maintains equipment, inspects for damage, and prepares items for use during each election cycle, including driving, loading/unloading trucks, scanning equipment, and assembling election kits.

Qualifications

One (1) year of related warehouse or inventory control experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or experience listed above may substitute for the minimum requirements on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and maintains accurate records for disposal of surplus and used materials.
Oversees collection, documentation, and storage of inventory and equipment.
Provides excellent customer service while adhering to workplace safety rules.
Operates computers and uses purchasing and inventory management systems.
Uses inventory software and tracking methods to manage warehouse inventory levels.
Receives, inspects, unloads, stores, and delivers supplies and materials in a timely and organized manner.
Operates a County vehicle to transport election supplies.
Executes special projects and supplementary warehouse tasks.
