Job summary

Maricopa County Elections is seeking a Temporary Mail Courier to support the election process by performing postal runs to retrieve mailed ballots and by dropping off and picking up ballots for scanning at the vendor. The role also loads and unloads ballot carts at county facilities and operates mail-opening machinery to ensure proper processing.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Pushes and pulls postal carts and equipment.
• Performs postal runs to USPS and ballot drop-offs for imaging.
• Operates mail opening machinery to process ballots.
• Assists with end-of-day mail room organization.
