Black to the Future Action Fund is seeking a part-time Team Lead for the Voter Outreach Team. This role coordinates up to five Election Impact Organizers to engage Black voters through canvassing, phone banking, and events.

You will train volunteers, manage outreach activities, and ensure accurate data entry in the MiniVAN platform while reporting progress regularly. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating a team with feedback
• Ability to train and support volunteers
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication with diverse communities
• Reliability and follow-through; punctual and prepared at locations
• Comfort using the MiniVAN app on a smartphone to record responses, text, calls, and posts
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle for travel

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of up to five Election Impact Organizers in daily voter outreach
• Build relationships with community leaders through meetings and events
• Canvass alongside your team—door-to-door outreach, calls, texts, social posts
• Train and support volunteers
• Enter voter data accurately into MiniVAN and complete daily reports
• Help your team meet voter-contact goals each shift
• Follow the provided script and share accurate information with residents
• Stay informed about political issues relevant to the campaign
