Black Census is seeking a Voter Outreach Team Lead to lead a team for voter mobilization efforts in Valdosta, Georgia. This part-time position focuses on energizing Black voters for the upcoming election through community outreach, training, and coordination with volunteers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to engage diverse community members effectively. Hourly pay is $25.00, with additional mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating a team, with comfort giving and receiving performance feedback.
• Ability to train and support volunteers.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of up to five Election Impact Organizers in daily voter outreach.
• Build relationships with community leaders.
• Canvass alongside your team through various outreach methods.
