The eLearning Program Manager is primarily responsible for supporting AAPA’s Continuing Medical Education (CME) initiatives, with a focus on the implementation and optimization of eLearning and digital learning programs. This role supports multiple aspects of AAPA’s Learning Management System (LMS) – Learning Central and works collaboratively as part of a team to ensure effective implementation and ongoing management of the LMS platform.
Responsibilities include collaborating with staff and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure CME and eLearning content accuracy; effectively managing, building, and testing new CME/eLearning activities; supporting LMS‑related components of AAPA annual conference and specialty meetings; developing dashboards, generating, and distributing participation and assessment data reports; developing standard operating procedure (SOPs) for routine tasks, evaluating processes for continuous improvement, troubleshooting user experience issues; and providing general CME‑related customer support to AAPA members, nonmembers, and staff.
In addition to LMS-related responsibilities, the eLearning Program Manager will assist Technology and Support Services team members and collaborate with cross-departmental staff on projects as needed. This is a very collaborative position that occasionally requires timely responses to internal and external requests.
